Hidden Place by Beach Sloth
Pavement falls into the ocean
At the end of a graffiti-lined street
Some surfer lies on a slab of pavement
It’s Oak and Company
Graffiti indicates people visit
A duck indicates the water’s fine
This all used to be business
Docks used to be in service
Now you see columns of wood
Totem poles
Planted by old entrepreneurs long dead
Everything died
No more machinery exists
Windows broken
Machines smashed
Yet it is a desirable place to live
In the shadow of glory long passed
At the end of a graffiti-lined street
Some surfer lies on a slab of pavement
It’s Oak and Company
Graffiti indicates people visit
A duck indicates the water’s fine
This all used to be business
Docks used to be in service
Now you see columns of wood
Totem poles
Planted by old entrepreneurs long dead
Everything died
No more machinery exists
Windows broken
Machines smashed
Yet it is a desirable place to live
In the shadow of glory long passed
